Spice up Food began with Cooking for a Cause which introduced participants to healthy vegetarian Indian cuisine. through providing an immersive, hands-on learning environment which promotes healthy lifestyle cooking that is comprised of simple and fresh balanced meals incorporating all food groups. Since its inception in 2009, the course inspired 100s of individuals and raised 1000s of dollars for various charitable causes.
Spice up Food is currently undergoing a transformation and will soon evolve into an online resource hub for healthy living. Please stay tuned for updates and check-in again soon!

executive chef - Mukesh GuptaMukesh Gupta is deeply passionate about creating and serving authentic home style meals, and has been dedicated to sharing his love for food with others for the past 35 years. Mukesh’s interest in simple, delicious, well-balanced and healthy food is contagious, as he has inspired 100s of individuals to adopt healthy vegetarian Indian cuisine into their daily diet. His culinary pursuits are diverse: chef-owner of Dhabha in Montreal, appeared on Sony TV's Khana Dil Se as guest chef, cooked at Ayurveda and Yoga Retreats and raised thousands of dollars for various charitable causes through Spice up Food Cooking Workshops.
